The R4 offical group announced that R4i GOLD 3DS can support Nintendo 3DS Ver 2.0.0-2（J,E,U）successfully without any updating,actually,that is not exatly true.
After loading your r4i 3ds card,if you get a "Spongebob Squarepants" Icon,then you don't need to update the patch of your console,it can run 3DS Ver2.0.0-2 directly.Otherwise,when you loading your card,then a "Miami Nights 3D" Icon appeared,you need to download the Patch V1.4.2c and update your 3DS card,at the same time you need another NDSi or NDSL to do this updating.
