Things you will need.
1.A NDS lite console.
2.a 3DS console.
3.Your broken R4i gold card
4.A new and workable R4i gold card
Ok,let’s start it here.
Step 1, you need to copy the right 3DS V2.0.0-2 Patch software to the MicroSD card! Then you could insert the micro SD card into the R4i gold,then insert the r4 card to the NDS lite console.Powered on your NDS console and entered the wood R4 root.
Step 2,After entered tje wood R4 root,you could find the newest 3DS20_Patch.If your card is R4i gold 3ds card you need to choose the 3DS20_Patch_R4iGold_3DS_NDSL.nds. to repair.And if your failed card is R4i gold card,you should choose the 3DS20_Patch_R4iGold_Non3DS_NDSL.nds to repair. So before choose the right 3DS patch,you should make sure what kind of card you own.
Step 3,if you have choosen the right patch,then you can press A button,and run on the upgrating prosess.Notice,during the process of the updating,you mustn’t press A button any more.
Step 4,after you have successfully updated your R4i gold card,then powerd off your NDS Lite console,took out the R4i gold card.
Step 5,taking out the Micro SD card,then insert it into the broken R4i card,then you could enter them again into the NDS Lite console.And repeat the above four steps,however you must notice that During the upgrade process, you must keep enough power,don’t turn off the console.
Step 6,you need to restart your NDS lite console when the shows upgrading successfully.This is an important step,you should’t ignore.Then your broken R4i gold has been upgraded into 3DS 2.0 already.
Last but not least,you can then insert the two R4i gold cards to run on your 3DS console and enjoy the games now!!
