Apple iWork Productivity Apps for iPhone Can Make You Productive

Apple has officially announced that availability of its suite of productivity apps under the iWork brand. We’re talking here of Pages, Keynote and Numbers which were only available for the iPad and Mac. The apps were completely redesigned to work flawlessly with the iPhone as well display beautifully on the small and yet superb screen display of the iPhone.

In case you’re still wondering what these three apps can do, they are basically the Microsoft Word (Pages), Excel (Numbers) and PowerPoint (Keynote) of Apple’s productivity apps.

All three apps are available now from the App Store and will cost you $9.99 each. But if you’ve managed to get one or all of these apps for your iPad, you can grab the iPhone version for free. Thank you for that Apple.
For those who have not had previous experience with any of this iWork apps before, these apps lets you import and export documents from iWork for Mac and Microsoft Office, print wirelessly using AirPrint and use those cool Apple-designed themes and templates on your documents. The apps even have a better management feature including some thumbnail images that allows you to quickly find the files you want to work on. And using your iPhone’s excellent touch feature, you can better organize your files, group them into folders and share any of these files inside the apps.

In other words, these iWork apps are really productivity apps that will make you a more productive iPhone owner. Hence, I’m not downloading any them except Pages which I already have on my iPad. Because, you see I don’t use my iPhone for productivity purposes. I’d rather use my iPhone for gaming and entertainment.
