Hello everyboday, Nintendo release the newest DSi V1.4.2 system, it blocked most flash cart at first.
But now, many flash cart breaked it, such as R4iDSN, Pandora 3DS Card, Acekard 2i.
The R4i SDHC (R4i Red) from www.R4i-sdhc.com ,also breaked it on 15 May 2011.
The following is the method to upgrade the R4i SDHC V1.4.1 to work on DSi V1.4.2 system,
this upgrade is only used for R4i V1.4.1, please see the picutre:

V1.4.2 hardware upgrade：
1. make sure nds fully charged, better with external power pluged.
2. First, reformatting the SD, download the latest kernel 1.38b.
3. Unzip and copy the files(R4iMenu,moonshl2,moonmemo,r4.DAT) to the root of MicroSD card.
4. Download the latest upgrading programs. Unzip and copy the file(fwup142c.nds ) to the root of MicroSD card.
5. Insert MicroSD card into r4i-sdhc card, insert r4i-sdhc card into nds\dsl\dsi\dsixl\3DS
6. Turn on console and press “A” button to run the upgrade file fwup142c.nds. Note:When upgrading the r4i-sdhc card, it is not allowed to turn off power or pull out r4i- sdhc,otherwise it will damage the r4i-sdhc card.

Then you can use the R4i V1.4.1 card to run games on V1.4.2 DSi console now!
