How to use PS3YES-Pro downgrade the console’s firmware from 3.50

We are here have the PS3YES Pro, a new product from PS3YES crew with extended features to compete with the new jailbreak dongles. Before I continue I must state they still provide support for the PS3YES (the early versions) and are among the best in providing the newer payloads for flashing after available from scene of course. Here are some features for the PS3YES-Pro:

• 8M Bytes flash memory

• Quickly recognize PC or Console, can act as a USB on PC.   

• No need to flash the firmware for update Jailbreak, no need to install the update software, no need to install the driver, simply copy the files for update.

• lThe “update files” is the various branches of Jailbreak native payload complete with hardware-independent, no need to care what chip is suitable, no need to care the chip running on what frequency.

• Automatically turn to USB disk mode after Jailbreak, for install the game manager

• Support Hermes v4 (v4b) inside, if empty the USB disk, will automatically load it.

• Support PL3 branch, including fw3.01, fw3.10, fw3.15, fw3.21, fw3.40, fw3.41 can directly copy the payload files to use.

Then how to use PS3YES-Pro downgrade the console’s firmware from 3.50?
Before users need to download the downgrade files ((http://www.sendspace.com/file/qlfoyi) and an USB disk is needed, of cause, the larger, and the better.
Ok let’s come to the tips:

• Update your PS3YES-Pro with downgrade firmware .  

• Plug the “downgrade” PS3YES-Pro to the right port (close the Blue-Ray Driver), Power down the console and cut of the power. Re-connect power to the console, Press power on button, press the “EJECT” button in 200ms after power on button was pressed. Until finished your downgrade, you don’t need cut off the power again.

• The screen to the console will flash several time and auto-turn-off, you can remove the PS3YES-Pro now (You console now ready to enter “Factory Mode” now.
• Prepare an USB disk and format it as FAT32 file system, copy two files to the USB disk: Lv2diag.self and PS3UPDAT.PUP, and place them under the root path. The named “Lv2diag.self” should copy from the “Lv2diag.self FILE 1″ folder.
• Plug the USB disk to the right USB port to the console, and remove any other USB disk from your console, press power on button to boot .
• Wait until the console turns off again. Remove the USB disk from your console, and delete all the files, copy the “Lv2diag.self” from “Lv2diag.self FILE 2″ folder to the USB disk’s root path.
• Plug the USB disk to the right USB port to the console, and press power on button, it will leave “Factory Mode” now.

• Last Step: After finished downgrade the console, you can update PS3YES-Pro back to Jailbreak mode; it would be recognized as a DFU device on PC.
