Q3: How do you install the PS Jailbreak2?

Q4: Why it is said an un-know USB device was found in the menu when I connect the PS Jailbreak2 to the PS3. In addition, why the PS Jailbreak2 green light isn’t lighting?
A4: This means that the dongle doesn’t work normally. You need first of all to check the following points:
a. Verify that all the external USB devices have been removed from the PS3 machine before the PS3 is started up(including the USB cable to the controller).
b. Verify that the disc drive of the PS3 is empty.
c. Verify that the PS3 system firmware is V3.41.
Once the above points have been verified, do the following operations:
a. Remove the power line jack from the PS3.
b. Insert the PS Jailbreak2 dongle in the PS3 USB port.
c. Connect the power line jack to the PS3 to enter its standby mode.
d. Press the ‘Power’ button on the console and then press the ‘Eject’ button. You should notice a beep sound from the console. If PS Jailbreak2 is working properly, within few seconds the red light will become green and the system menu will appear on the screen.
e. If the light does not become green you need to repeat this process.
Q5: Why the “manager.pkg” file does not appear when I execute “Install Package Files” from the system menu?
A5: To solve this issue check the following points:
a. The green light on the PS Jailbreak2 is switched on. If not, please refer to Q4.
b. Check that a copy of Backup Manager(manager.pkg) file in FAT32 format is copied in the root of the external USB storage. If it is copied inside a folder the file will not appear in the system menu.
Once the above 2 points are checked and solved, insert the external USB storage, choose “Install Package Files” from the system menu and the “manager.pkg” will show up. At this point select in and execute it.
Q6: Why when I go back to the Game menu to choose “Backup Manager”, the Joystick of the controller refused to work, and I cannot choose the files in the menu?
A6: After you choose “Backup Manager” you may select the games, delete some files or backup files and so on, by using the cross-shaped control keys on the left of the joystick.
Q7: After backing up some files I go in the “Backup Manager” menu, I choose a file and execute “load”. An error message appeared, “Please insert the original BD game disc”. Why?
