Bethesda Announces Brink Update and Free DLC

The recently released game, Brink has received an update to fix issues relating to the lag many players have been experiencing. To do this, the player limit for most modes has been cut in half, once supporting 16 players but now only supporting 8 players. This is expected to result in more reliable and quality host connections. A new “Big Teams” mode has been introduced for those who have not been experiencing lag and wish to play with 16 players. There is no download neccessary for this update.

To show their appreciation to fans and thank them for their patience, it has been announced that the first Brink DLC will be released free of charge. The DLC will add new maps and content and is expected to be available in June. For Splash Damage and Bethesda’s full statement, hit the jump below.
